This photo has nothing to do with this post. I just love it. This session will be on the blog soon. Photo Credit: Love, The Nelsons

This morning at approximately 5:04 a.m. I frantically woke up from a dream, looked straight up at my ceiling and let out one of the most terrifying screams of MY LIFE. You this minute, I will tell you I for a fact SAW this, BUT we haven't found any evidence of it (yet) and I would be perfectly OKAY with that if we never did.

When I looked up, I saw a HUGE, FREAKING GIGANTIC, GODZILLA SIZED (size of my hand or so haha) TARANTULA walking on my ceiling. I flew out of bed like a chicken maniac flapping my wings flabtastic arms. Drew woke up in a half-asleep drunken like stupor saying, "WHAT! WHAT! WHAT!"

Low and behold, Drew calmly got out of bed, walked to the garage, got the ladder, and crawled his way up to the ceiling fan.

Notta. It was gone. Or it was never there (Drew's thoughts) but y'all...I swear that I will never sleep the same again in our room again! ;)

This morning I had a meeting downtown and woke up, feeling fresh, got dressed, and hopped in Drew's truck. He takes my car to work most days to save on gas, so I'm usually stuck with the giant gray tank that I can't drive for the life of me CAN drive like a CHAMP. I left my purse in the car yesterday, so I was without my driver's license. Grrrreat. "Hope I don't get pulled over," I thought. I wasn't in a hurry, I was running on time, and when I pulled out of my neighborhood, I noticed a cop at the stop sign. "Grrrreat!" He creeped behind me and I KNEW that he was going to pull me over. I just had a feeling. OF COURSE HE WOULD! I didn't have my driver's license, this just seems like the perfect start to my day yaknow!?

The lights went off. I pull over. The cop comes to Drew's truck window (that doesn't roll down) so I open up the door, only to realize that my dress was hiked up REALLY short on the side (not on purpose I promise), and he says,

"Do you have insurance on your truck?"

"Yes sir, here is the card...I believe it's up to date!"

"Is this your truck?"

"Yes, well, it's my husbands!"

"Well, it's registering and saying that you don't have it, so go ahead and call them to make sure they are getting your payments! But this card is good so you're good to go!"

"Yes sir, sure thing! I'm sorry! I had no idea!"

"It's okay, just be careful! Have a nice day ma'am!"

TOTALLY dodged that bullet. He was also probably the nicest cop I've ever encountered too. (It must have been the leg I was showing on accident haha. JK. But THANK GOD he didn't ask for my driver's license. *Wiping forehead*

It's been awhile hasn't it? Blogging has sort of really HAD to take a back seat for the last few weeks due to my schedule being more jam-packed than an elephant in a mason jar. I miss it and I miss you guys and I have a MILLION things I want to re-cap and share but I am currently sitting here with red, burning eyes, bags under my eyes, and trying to come up for air. Wedding Season, Re-branding, Travels, Projects, Meetings, Editing, Shoots, The Move... it's just been more than one person can handle. It's go-go-go-go and there is no time for a break. I'm very thankful though, and I am feeling more blessed than ever with my job, my marriage, my house, and my friendships. Also, THANK YOU SO SO SO SO SO MUCH for all the love regarding our new logo! Has it grown on you more and more? I swear I love it more each day. It just makes me so happy and I am so glad y'all love it!
