Avenue of the Giants.

7.20.2011

When we finally made it to Fortuna, we made a big sigh of relief. We grabbed some McDonalds and found a cheap hotel to rest our poor little traveling bodies. Haha.

We woke up feeling exhausted rested, got dressed, and headed to the Avenue of the Giants.

We had so much fun. It literally felt like Twilight and Fern Gully mixed into one.

If you ever get a chance to go to the Redwoods in California, I highly suggest you go. It's beautiful.

Next stop: Fort Bragg, CA.

  5. wow! this is absolutely amazing! i'm not usually bowled over by nature, as i'm more of a city lover, but it's absolutely amazing to see how nature works sometimes. How cool is it that the tree realizes it's going to fall so it just grows limbs on one side?!
